 B A R R E
classic:
our signature barre classic class is perfect for all – from the barre freshies, to the regular creatures. classes begin at the barre + end on the mat, with exercises engaging specific muscle groups at a time. legs, glutes, arms, abdominals will be focused on.
 
move:
a heart-pumping, invigorating class. it has a similar structure to barre classic, but with a few more options to jump + the addition of a plank or two. designed to get your heart rate up, as always, you can take the movements at your own pace.
 
blend:
the perfect blend of pilates + barre. standing legs, glutes, inner thighs, plank, arms, obliques, abs. no time for designated breaks, but take them as you please.
P I L A T E S
primary:
mat pilates is a sequence of controlled exercises that engage your mind + condition the entire body. it is a blend of strength + flexibility training. focusing on abs, glutes, arms + planks.
 
fierce:
it's mat pilates with a fierce edge. there is a strong focus on planking and core work, as well as arms, obliques and glutes. there will be sweat + those muscles will be working their hardest.
Y O G A
vinyasa:
vinyasa = arranging something in a special way. 
coordinating movement with breath, you will flow from one pose to the next with strength + intent. this class is a dynamic meditation in motion, with a prevailing mental component, vinyasa yoga will assist in setting a focused + calm tone for your day. 
 
hatha:
hatha yoga is about balancing the body + mind. with ‘ha’ representing the sun +  ‘tha’, the moon - the practice of hatha yoga will aim to join + balance the two energies.
hatha involves a set of physical postures + breathing techniques, practised more slowly + with more static posture holds than a vinyasa flow. 
hatha yoga is friendly for pre + post natal creatures.
 
vinyin:
from vin to yin. this class will begin with a warming + dynamic vinyasa sequence allowing energy to begin flowing within the body. the second half of the class will focus on yin poses - being held longer to stretch the connective tissues + assist in relaxing the deeper layers of the body.
H I I T
our hiit class combines elements of high-intensity interval training (hiit), circuit training and barre. the combination of interval, cardiovascular and strength training is an effective workout method for fat burning and lean muscle.
S L O W
our slowest class is comparable to yin yoga. move between long held poses designed to stretch your body + release you mind.  our slow class incorporates elements of mindfulness - a focus on breath, body scans, muscle release + meditation.  

S T I L L
stillness offers your mind rest, peace + space from the outside world. where the mind goes, the body will follow. get lost in a luxurious + tranquil state of relaxation + mindfulness. you will be provided with the tools for comfort + all you need to do is let go of the day.
our 'fresh to SoBa' classes are recommended to creatures who are learning the way we do things around here. these classes are obviously still an option for our habitual SoBa creatures who want to bring it back to the foundations ✌️
our habitual classes are for our intermediate to advanced creatures. that's not to say our fresh creatures can't give them a red hot go - the movement classes do move at a faster pace, though 💪
